The prolific University of Chicago grad Chris Holmes is a member of three bands: Sabalon Glitz (space-rock), Ashtar Command (techno), and Yum-Yum (orchestral pop). Holmes owns an impressive collection of keyboards, musical gadgets, and old instruments (including the Mellotron that was used in the BBC's old "Dr. Who" television series and a theremin). Yum-Yum's debut (produced by the Pulsars' Dave Trumfio), "Dan Loves Patti," is now available.
